5000 years of scripture down the drain.

This being the last day of the month of November I thought I would write a short post on the way the election went. I occured to me that 50% to 48 % of the Catholic vote went to Barack Obama.  News reporters have said that this was indicative of a shift in religious views.  This shift has been in the works for along time, and it should not come as a big heart stopping suprise.

For about 100 years the Church has been under a direct attack by Satan.  His efforts are concentrated in making people believe he does not exist, no God, no satan. (Logic, If the Divine Person does not exist then a being made by Divine Person cannot exist. Right?)

In Pope St Pius X vision...During an audience for the general chapter of the Franciscan order in 1909, the Pontiff appeared to enter a trance. Those present remained motionless and silent. After a few moments, Pius opened his eyes, rose from his seat, and cried, "What I have seen is terrifying! Will I be the one, or will it be a successor? What is certain is that the Pope will leave ROME and, in leaving the Vatican, he will pass over the dead bodies of his priests!" He then cautioned the witnesses, "Do not tell anyone of this while I am alive."

Just before his death, Pius had another vision. "I have seen one of my successors, of the SAME NAME, who was fleeing over the dead bodies of his brethren. He will take refuge in some HIDING PLACE; but after a brief respite, he will die a cruel death.

Respect for God has disappeared from human hearts. They wish to efface even God's memory. This perversity is nothing less than the beginning of the last days of the world."

If there is no God then there is no Heaven.  With no heaven there is no need for a soul. We are reduced to being equal with all other beings. Babies in the womb therefore don't need to be born becuase they do not have the divine spark.

There is a different belief, that there is a God, who made us because he loves us and wants us to join him in Heaven.

The True Church has teached  a loving God since before Abraham.  This November the 6th, in the Year of the Lord 2012,  50% of Catholics laid 5000 years of Sacred Scripture aside, closed their Bibles and voted for satan.

is this tied in with the 80-100 year of the enemy's tyranny over God's church and the world that some speak of? If so, do you think, based upon sound, Church approved teaching, that it commenced in the 1880's or 1930's?

the enemy is rattling my spiritual cage at the moment - cult survivor issues have assailed me for the past 2 days; I feel as if I am being infultrated by the enemy's wicked forces trying to cause me fear and upset; no sooner have I through the grace of our Lord jesus Christ and Mother Mary laid one sin issue to rest, then old pre-Catholic fears and scripture twistings bubble up unbidden from triggers in my environment to make me feel terrified, lost, damned etc...(remember that book of EGW's you threw out from the prison library??? - all of that old rubbish is rising to the top). Only cult survivors can truly understand. i've been just over a year Catholic Christian now, and all I want is peace; I wish that I had never been led into SDA'ism as a young teen!!!!! i wish I could erase the hell of that twisted theology from my soul once and for all and find peace, not torment!

the SDA's would say that it is the holy spirit begging my soul back to truth one final time (I should know, i used to say this sort of thing myself and believe it!). I'll not leave my Lord and Lady, but I wish the torment would stop; it is causing anxiety, hyper-vigilence, dread 'hind-brain' fear and physical symptoms...do cult survivors go through a kind of PTSD like that of those who have survived abusive relationships or horrid experiences in the service of their country or part of the police/ambulence/fire brigade etc? . Is this linked in with our times?

Please pray for me,

Dear Sarah, Your letter touches me,because it is so heart rending. I to feel the demons attacking me.

I do not know if Former Cult memebrs go through PTSD but since I have PTSD I can tell you that those are the symptoms.

Satan knows our weaknesses. He is like an army attempting to force a fortress. He find the weakest point and attacks them. We know he is coming and we must prepare spiritually. Remembering a former sin is called scruples, a scruple is from a latin word which means a small stone, like the one which finds it's way into ones shoe. the more you walk on it the moe it bothers you. But we know that ALL our sins are forgiven at Confession. To have a scruple is to doubt the Holy Spirit. Deny Satan from intering you by rejecting the doubt he wants uyou to have.

Look at the teachings of the SDA from a purely Catholic point of view. There is no authority because they have not the continuity with the Apostles there is no sucession. They believe in the Bible yet they forget that for about at least 200 years there was not a bible. Baptism is not a sacrement to themit is a statement. It imparts no grace nor removes sin.

Ellen G. White (EGW), the Seventh-day Adventist’s prophetess makes the following claims:

EGW in 1876: "In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles. In these days He speaks to them by the testimonies of His Spirit. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestly than He instructs them now concerning His will and the course that He would have them pursue." —Testimonies, vol. 4, pp. 147-148. (1876)

EGW claims: "that there never was a time when God instructed his people more earnestly" back in 1876through her testimonies. Was her "testimonies" more earnest than the prophets such as Noah, Jonah, Abraham, Moses, as well as the apostles and even Jesus Christ? Heresy!!! In EGW's mind "his people" back in 1876 are SDA church members and God is giving them inside information through her visions. This is a typical example of religious cultism when people accept false prophets and prophetess writings as from God. Why need Jesus when yu have a direct line to God Himself?

Bible: Heb 1:1 - 2 (NIV) In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

We could stop here with the first quote of EGW as she claims to replace Jesus Christ and is now speaking for God. This in itself shows that Adventism is a cult when comparing it with Hebrews 1:1-2.

God never told his church that Jesus would be replaced by Ellen Gould White or any other prophet or prophetess.

EGW: "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. I do not write one article in the paper expressing "merely" my own ideas. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne." —Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 67.

It has been proven that much of what EGW wrote did not come from "the throne of God" but copied from books in her 1200 book library. God's prophets are not liars! See "Desire of Ages: The Veltman report."

2. What they write and teach their followers contradicts the Bible.

"Ellen G. White Contradicts the Bible Over 50 time" EGW holds strict authority over its members in respect to, finances, wills, diet, dress, amusement, associations, etc. as taught in her books such as Testimonies to the Church. (See Desire of Ages not inspired)

3. Many members taking issue with the authority of the leader are excommunicated, (disfellowshipped), shunned, or not allowed to hold office in the church, etc.

Fulfillment: EGW—"When the judgment of the General Conference, which is the highest authority that God has on earth, is exercised private independence and private judgment MUST NOT be maintained, but must be surrendered." Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 492.

Look at the Adventist pastors that were fired for not believing in some of Ellen G. White’s teachings. Also members who have been put out of office and disfellowshipped for not accepting Ellen G. White as a prophet or her teachings.

Is not the highest authority on EARTH the Holy See?

4. Cult leaders teach infallibility (!?) in their teachings or the writings of their cult leader, in this case Ellen G. White.

Fulfillment: "It is from the standpoint of the light that has come through the Spirit of Prophecy (Mrs. White’s writings) that the question will be considered, believing as we do that the Spirit of Prophecy is the only infallible interpreter of Bible principles, since it is the Christ, through this agency, giving real meaning of his own words." (G.A. Irwin, General Conference President, from the tract The Mark of the Beast, p. 1.)

On February 7, 1887, the General Conference passed the following resolution: "That we re-affirm our binding confidence in the Testimonies of Sister White to the Church, as the teaching of the Spirit of God." (SDA Year Book for 1914, p. 253)

"Our position on the Testimonies is like the key-stone to the arch. Take that out and there is no logical stopping-place till all the special truths of the Message are gone...Nothing is surer than this, that the Message and visions (of Mrs. White) belong together, and stand or fall together." (Review and Herald Supplement, August 14, 1883.)

5. The cult members believes that they are superior to others because of their unique teachings as they have knowledge of God’s will that other Christians do not have. Because of the false teachings of their prophet or leaders, they consider themselves especially chosen by God, and look at themselves as the "Remnant Church," or "The True Church".

Fulfilled: Ellen G. White and the Seventh-day Adventist Church view themselves as "the Remnant Church" alone especially called by God in 1844, over all other churches, which they called Babylon. The Adventist still considers themselves the Remnant Church. Read, "Seventh-day Adventist Believe 27," Chapter 12, "The Remnant and Its Mission", p.153.

"One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy, This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen G. White." "Seventh-day Adventist Believe 27," p.216.

Without Ellen G. White and her Bible Contradictions, the Seventh-day Adventist Church could not call itself the remnant church. In fact the Word of God never calls any denomination a remnant church or true church.

6. Adventist leaders and their members use the writings of Ellen G. White to interpret the Scriptures. EGW's writings are the final arbitrator of doctrines.

Fulfilled: The Adventist’s claim to hold the Bible above all teachings, but in fact they interpret the Bible by the writings of Ellen G. White. This is demonstrated in their Sabbath school Quarterlies, sermons, and articles in their church paper, Adventist Review. Her counsel is to be followed as Scripture.

7. They publish their own Bible and insert their own doctrines into the text.

Fulfilled: The Seventh-day Adventist Church publishes The Clear Word Bible—now called The Clear Word. It is a cultic Bible that does not separate the Bible text from the author’s personal commentary, opinions, which slants the text to agree with the writings of Ellen G. White and other Adventist understandings to make the text say what he wants it to say. This corrupt piece of work, makes the Word of God unclear to the reader.

Adventist scholar Dr. Sakae Kubo say’s, "I am concerned about how our membership regard and use Blanco’s The Clear Word. Behind my remarks is a history of Bibles of this sort that have a terrible bias. The Jehovah’s Witnesses’ New World Translation is an obvious example—the divinity of Christ is removed and His createdness is brought out along with other tendential characteristics. The very obvious and serious danger is that our own people will be confused as to what the Bible really says. Interpretation has been so mixed in with the text that our people will think that the interpretation is part of the Word of God."

How can I thank you for all the time and care you have put into your lengthy response, let alone the prayers I know have been lifted to heaven for me. I am beginning to sail upon an even keil again, thanks be to God; its not easy though, but obviously a cross Christ has foreseen I am to carry since the foundations of the Earth – fitting me to fight for others who have come through what I have come through and to equip me with the ways and means necessary to help them also.

The EGW ‘Truth and Fables org’ website is a very comprehensive one indeed.I do not believe there is coincidence in God’s plan – of interest, the SDA secondary school that is only a short walk from the Catholic university I am attending (only one year of undergrad studying at half workload left!!) has fallen in attendance a few years ago from over 500 students to around 110; they had their final roll call this Friday past. It was one of only two SDA secondary schools to serve the entire Greater Sydney Area. In the West, they are haemoredging numbers as folk like myself are plucked from the fire by Christ in all His mercy. However, spare a thought for those who get out but lose all faith in the process due to programming re Rev 13, 14 and 17, Dan 7 and 8, 2 pet 2: 22 and odd doctrine such as ‘soul sleep’ taken from Scriptural references such as Ecclesiastes 9: 4-6, Luke 8: 52, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13. Additionally, they use all the ‘false prophets’ scriptures coupled with the ‘soul sleep scriptures to call into question legitimate private revelation within Catholic Christian tradition such as that of Fatima and everything else from St. Hildegard to St Faustina (especially rare occurances of holy souls in pergatory warning the living to live holy lives etc). One would not be surprised to learn that EGW is seen as the final legitimate recipient of prophetic revelation and had written into her own texts that she would be denied in the last days, dispensed with, and the SDA church would lose its assets and look as if it were at death’s door, before one last resurgence prior to the end of probation).

The Investigative judgement and end of probation teachings would have to be the most toxic of all, as the latter twists scripture to assert that there will be a time when Jesus lays aside his Priestly robes in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Temple and we will be without an intercessor. (they use selections from Hebrews and Rev; e.g. ‘he who is filthy let him be filthy still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still’ my paraphrase).

The investigative judgement doctrine asserts that from 1844 (using the 1200 day formulae in Dan and Rev) jesus moved from the Holy to Most Holy Place in the Heavenly Temple to judge the living from that point onward; if our names come up and we have erred we’ve lost the race e.g. if we were sinful last week and were judged, even if we are perfect from this week onwards, we’ve still lost the race. Look up the doctrine of ‘Limited Atonement’.They also take the verses out of James etc that speak to james’s community re establishing the virtue of Caritas to (not surprisingly) point to Sabbath worship on Saturday only (e.g. if one knows a truth and does not do it, this is sin to him’.

Re the Scriptural ascent for legitimate private revelation being on-going into our days (e.g. Sr Lucia, St Faustina) Acts 2: 17, EGW and her followers used this as proof of her veracity. Coupling it with the ‘state of the dead’ scriptures above, they used this to point to EGW while ruling out Holy Souls etc.

Finally, the persecution doctrine (that of Sabbath keepers being persecuted by Catholic Church etc) Saturday being final true test of ‘Those who keep the commandments of God and the Testamony of jesus’ etc, this is an inverse correlation of Catholic escatology borne out by Church approved private revelation regarding our own difficulties as Catholics, the Great Chastisement etc. In the 80’s, many staunch SDA’s would read Fr. Malachi Martin’s book ‘keys of this blood’ and other writings; they even had their own 3DOD perspective in which EGW would be raised from the dead early to rally her people. Finally, their insistance on Remnant comes directly from the KJV translation of the Bible in which ‘Remnant’ is used in the book of Revelation; hence, in my part of the world, the KJV was seen as essential to point toward SDA truth, and all other English translations sullied by man prompted by satan so the truth would be obscured as part of the great deceiver’s plan that if possible ‘even the very elect would be deceived’.

Believe it or not, talking this out with you and looking at the scriptural references is very healing and restorative. I find it odd as a Catholic Christian that there are as many verses on Pergatory in Scripture as on ‘soul sleep’, but that the SDAs deliberately state these are allegorical, same with the account of Lazarus and the Rich Man, in which they claim the hellfire depicted is also only allegorical (SDA’s believe in annialationism; that is, if we have not made the grade on judgement day, we will be ‘evaporated’ at the second resurrection ‘of the wicked’ one thousand years after the resurrection of the just.

I also find it of no small coincidence that the SDA structure is very similar to that of the Catholic Church from General Conference President (it is believed that the Holy Spirit aids in his election) to the ‘conference’ structure (mirrors the diocesan structure), and EGW being the SDA ‘counterfeit’ of Mary in a perverse type of way. Then you’ve converts like Doug Batchellor who really do the devil’s work for them.

I shall continue to pray for you, your family and your wonderful Blog ministry as I currently do, and am once again ever in your debt for the care and brotherly concern you have afforded me in these matters. If just one more is rescued out of the dungeon of fear and despair that is SDA through your comments, what blessing this shall be!

God’s peace and favour be upon you,

I have met several Adventists, one even was a minister. There was a time when I was in a neutral place in my faith, and the prostyletizers attacked me at every turn. It turned out to be one of the reasons I returned to a more deeper faith in my Catholicism because I recognized that these people were sent by satan even if they did not know it.
Stay strong.
