Obama declares June Gay pride month.

In reality Obama has declared war on the Holy Catholic Church.

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 2, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – For the third year in a row, President Barack Obama has declared June a month to celebrate homosexuals.

“Every generation of Americans has brought our Nation closer to fulfilling its promise of equality. While progress has taken time, our achievements in advancing the rights of LGBT Americans remind us that history is on our side, and that the American people will never stop striving toward liberty and justice for all,” wrote Obama, in declaring June to be “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Month.”

Obama’s first declaration of “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Month” was June 2009, which marked the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. The homosexual movement traces its origins to June 1969 at Stonewall Inn in New York City, where a group of homosexuals rioted in protest against police raids on gay bars.

In this year’s proclamation, Obama noted that June 2011 marks the “30th anniversary of the emergence of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, which has had a profound impact on the LGBT community.”

The president also noted that he had overturned the U.S. military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

He added that the administration was also implementing the “Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act,” and working with educators to stop bullying against homosexual youths.
Obama also noted that his administration is selecting “highly qualified, openly LGBT individuals to executive branch and judicial positions.” He added that his administration is committed to making the United States a world leader in “the fight against pernicious laws targeting LGBT persons and malicious attempts to exclude LGBT organizations from full participation in the international system.”

Unlike last year’s LGBT month proclamation, Obama did not mention repeal of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act as an administrative priority.

The president stated that for the LGBT community “history is on our side,” adding that achieving rights for persons identifying as homosexuals is part of Americans “striving toward liberty and justice for all.”

Obama has made a compact with satan.

June is the Month of the Sacred Heart

By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to a certain devotion. In June, it is the Sacred Heart of Jesus (the feast of which normally falls in this month). The Sacred Heart represents Christ's love for all mankind, and our devotion to it is an expression of our faith in His mercy.

On June 1, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI urged Catholics everywhere to renew their devotion to the Sacred Heart during the month of June. Some or all of the following prayers to the Sacred Heart can be incorporated into our daily prayers during this month.

Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart
This prayer is often said on or around the Feast of the Sacred Heart. In it, we unite ourselves fully to the Heart of Christ, asking Him to purify our wills so that everything we do may be in line with His Will—and, if we fall, that His Love and Mercy may shield us from the righteous judgment of God the Father.

Richard,

If this is the case, may God have mercy upon your nation...looks as if it has been given over to its own appetites. Let us pray ever more fervently that the hearts of those in your nation and mine will be receptive to the Holy Spirit - that our lands may consecrate themselves completely to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Is this perhaps another piece simply being maneuvred into place? the big hit's coming, kiddoes, but fear not - remember God's promise re psalm 91...

Sarah,

Of course, as President, he has always been an implacable enemy of the Church. That is why he has packed high office with so many dissident Catholics.

Which of our Founding Fathers ever imagined we would be publicly and officially celebrating deviancy? How come the government can celebrate perversion but not the Christian faith that is our heritage?

Thank you Anita and Sarah: As my wife remarked yesterday after Mass, June in the traditional month of marriages. (My youngest was married on June 9, 2007.) This is an attack on all marriages... I have some people here at work who would support this fellow no matter what he does, which shows the amount of brainwashing the left has done to the nation.
