Stupid is as stupid does...

Back in 1975 John Saxon was the star of a new TV series which failed about a post apolyptic world in to which the star travels 1890 years into the future to rescue his commrades held in suspnded animation at a place called PAX. (I actually had a friend who wrote a script for this) in the future it seems there is a cult of androgyny. They refused to perceive any differences in sex. (no, not gender that is a grammatical term.) This was Gene Rodenbury's only failed series and reflected his concept of how things should be in his world, (and later in space).

Roddenbury was an atheist, and his programs show this. Enough about him.

Acts of Apostacy has surprised me once again with this feature...

Genderless Child Being Raised By Brainless Parents

...Each week the woman asks the same question about the baby with the squishy cheeks and feathery blond hair.

She’s used to it. The neighbours know Witterick and her husband, David Stocker, are raising a genderless baby. But they don’t pretend to understand it...

An ambiguous sex needs an ambiguous name, the baby is called "Storm".
