Miss California keeps her Crown

Miss California Carrie Prejean was allowed to keep her crown even though the "tolerant" homosexual lobby attempted to destroy her using photographs she posed for topless. Included was a revealation that the pageant payed for breast implants. In an emotion filled speech she said in part...

"I exercised my freedom of speech and I was punished for doing so," an emotional Prejean said at a news conference. "This should not happen in America. It undermines the constitutional rights for which my grandfather fought for (in World War Two).

"I believe no one should be silenced if they are speaking from their heart. I am a model. I am a Christian," she said, adding that she forgave everyone who had attacked her for her anti-gay marriage opinions.

Her views, and the strident reaction to them, came in the midst of heated nationwide debates over same-sex weddings which have recently been legalized in five U.S. states but banned in a California referendum in November.

The truth is Freedom of Speech, guaranteed by the first amendment, is commonly seen as by the left as their right and as long as one agrees with them it is exersized correctly, otherwise it is labelled hate. The first amendment was written to protect speech which advisarial, not the wishy washy politically correct drivel which comes from Hollywood.

Carrie Prejean you done good. Now you are a roll model.

Exactly!

Well, I'm glad she got to keep her crown.
