Every Christmas it is bound to happen

*...We atheists and agnostics love this time of year. The food, the family, the fun, the fellowship. It's a natural season that belongs to all of us, not just to Christians. Christians came along and basically stole this time of year. Pretending that the Evergreen... Pagans celebrations long before Christians had the Evergreen and the gifts and the love in the family. So, December does not belong just to Christians. We...millions of good Americans, who don't believe in a God...we don't believe in a God, yet we do believe in human values and we see the nativity scene as a direct attack on good human values and we'd like our place at the table as well...

Every year at this time some crazy left wing group attacks Christians by going after a sacred holiday. The eternal excuse is, "we don't believe in God therefore niether should you" so to prove that they find some idiot politician who is too weak in his or her convictions to stand up and be counted. In this case it is one of those nominal "catholics" inspired by "cafeterianism" who choose leftest agendas over tradional Judeo-Christian values. Governor Chris Gregoire is one of those. Doing her best to be politically correct she has allowed an atheist group to place a display in the Capitol in Washington State even thought this display is hate filled speach against Christianity. The sign reads, “At this season of the Winter Solstice, may reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”

*...The Christians basically stole this season from us human beings by using the hate speech of the nativity scene, which damns all of us to hell if we don't bow down before that little baby, who became the dictator...

The Christmas season may well have coinicided with a pagan holiday, but those pagans weren't atheist. They had false gods, believed in that trees were gods and practiced human sacrifice. It that what you want to see? The Christmas season celebrates the birth of the Christ. Christ does not dictate, If you don't wish to believe fine, but don't intrude yourself into our holiday with your misappropriation of our Holiday. It is not Christians who damn anyone to hell, you will condemn yourself.

Governor Gregoire, I do not know from where you received your Catechism, but it has failed you as it has many politicians. Stop caling yourself Catholic. You are not.
