Upcoming predictions for the new year

As I have said before, history is replete with parallels, and do overs. 13 years after the American Revolution the the French overthrow their Sovereign and completely change the social order of France. From the system of government, to the calendar, to the prosecution of justice, to it's de-Christianization, the social fabric is torn from a glorious past, trampled underfoot and then remolded into a nearly unrecognizable form.

On January 20, 2009 the United States will begin it's own remolding of the social order by whom I believe to be an antichrist. Before you smirk I must say that I hope this is not the case. The antichrist as is told in sacred prophecy, will pull great numbers of peoples to his side by his charisma, he will promise to be all to everyone.

Here are my predictions for the first six months of the New Redeal. Expect these laws to be enacted by Congress or by Executive decree...

1. FOCA, the Freedom of Choice Act.(1)

According to the National Right to Life Committee's Legislative Action Center, the FOCA was introduced by Democrats in response to the April 18, 2007 U.S. Supreme Court decision (Gonzales v. Carhart) upholding the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.

Among the types of laws that the FOCA would invalidate are:

-- The Hyde Amendment, which prohibits most federal funding of abortion, and the laws of many states that restrict state funding of abortion.

-- Laws in effect in some jurisdictions that bar abortions in government-operated hospitals.

-- Laws requiring parental notification or consent, or judicial authorization, before an abortion can be performed on a minor daughter.

-- Laws requiring that girls and women seeking abortion receive certain information on matters such as fetal development and alternatives to abortion, and then wait a specified period before the abortion is actually performed, usually 24 or 48 hours.

-- "Conscience" laws, allowing doctors, nurses, or other state-licensed professionals, and hospitals or other health-care providers, to decline to provide or pay for abortions.

To be brief, these laws would require Catholic Hospitals to perform abortions, provide information on Abortions, and distribute prophylactics.

2. Retirement funding...(2)

The Democratic Congress, (presumably with the OK from the Party leader Barack Obama) is currently holding hearing about federalizing the 401K retirement funds...

“With respect to the 401(k), it appears to be a plan that is not really well-devised for the changes in the market,” Rep. George Miller, D-Calif., said.

“We’ve invested $80 billion into subsidizing this activity,” he said, referring to tax breaks allowed for 401(k) contributions and savings.

With savings rates going down, “what do we have to start to think about in Congress of whether or not we want to continue and invest that $80 billion for a policy that is not generating what we … say it should?” Mr. Miller said.

Congress should let workers trade their 401(k) assets for guaranteed retirement accounts made up of government bonds, suggested Teresa Ghilarducci, an economics professor at The New School for Social Research in New York.

When workers collected Social Security, the guaranteed retirement account would pay an inflation-adjusted annuity under her plan.

“The way the government now encourages 401(k) plans is to spend $80 billion in tax breaks,” which goes to the highest-income earners, Ms. Ghilarducci said.

That simply results in transferring money from taxed savings accounts to untaxed accounts, she said.

This means any retirement monies which you have in your retirement will then become the property of the federal government and placed in the control of the Social Security Administration. You will gauranteed a 3% yearly gain, (far below the Cost of Living inflation.) Death gratutity will be reduced to no more than 50%.

We all know how good a job the federal government has done with Social Security.

3. Closing of the Guantanimo Terrorist Detention Center...
This along would not give me cause to be concerned, but the closing of the detention center may be the move which starts the repatriation of the entire base.

4. The repeal by executive order of the, Don't ask, don't tell policy.

5. The rise in gasoline prices as new taxes, a ban on of shore drilling and restrictions on new refineries.

6. The repealing of 200 executive orders, including stem cell research, climate change, abortion information overseas, and the performance of abortions on service women overseas by military hospitals.

7. The formation of a "Civilian Defense Corps to augment the National Guard and homand security. It would be manditory for 18 through 25 year olds.I am reminded of the SA of 1930's Germany...

8. There will be no "Middle Class Tax Cut." Clinton promised this too. I must add that to a democrat a cut is when you leave the tax the same and a cut in funding is when you leave the funding the same year after year.

After writing all this things I find in inconceivable that Catholics and Christians should actually have voted for B.O.

There is this one little thing I have noticed.

Rahm Emmanuel has become the Obama chief of staff. I will remind the reader that Emmanuel means "God with us."

Sometime in the future I expect that it will boil down to this one final question... "Will I stand with God and His Church, or the antichrist?"

Dieu Le Roy,
de Brantigny

(1). FOCA, Catholics in the Public Square January 29, 2008

(2). 401K Retirement Plan, I must say that B.O. has not mentioned this, but this is a page of predictions and nothing is being done without his knowledge.

(3). The closing of Repeal of 200 Executive orders.
